Country Mice is a friendly village pre-school playgroup in Cowfold,
Horsham with charity status that was founded in 1975.
The Country Mice playgroup originally operated from the Village
Hall in Cowfold, but with the help and support of parents and friends
in 1992, we are now extremely privileged to possess our own purpose-built
classroom and garden that undoubtedly enhance the service that we
offer.
Country Mice playgroup is a member of the Pre-school Learning
Alliance (PLA), a national organisation that provides the pre-school
with its constitution and other guidance and support. The playgroup
also receives support from the Early Year’s Development
and Childcare Partnership (EYDCP). We are run by a voluntary committee
of parents, and staffed by a team of qualified and experienced
childcare practitioners.
We run morning playgroup sessions from 9am to 12pm for children
from two years old to school age and have a lunch club from 12
pm to 1 pm for those who wish to bring in a packed lunch. We also
run an afternoon playgroup session from 12pm to 2.30pm on Fridays
where we welcome children from Country Mice or part time Reception
children at school wishing to extend their day.
We also run a Baby and Toddler Club every Wednesday morning from
10am to 12pm in the Cowfold Village Hall for all children under
five. |
