Policies & Procedures
Admissions and Bookings
We welcome all applications for places of children aged between
two years and school age. Our policy aims to make the allocation
of places fair and clear.
- If there is not a place available on the requested session,
in the first instance an alternative session will be offered.
If an alternative is unavailable or not required the Pre School
Manager will place your child on a waiting list.
- On a waiting list, an older child will take priority over a
younger child
- On a waiting list Children living within the Parish of Cowfold
will take priority over children living outside the Parish.
On rare occasions we do have to disappoint some parents, please
do keep your child on the waiting list and we will advise you
of a place when it becomes available.
- We accept children in nappies and training pants. We have potties
and toilet trainer seats for those children who prefer to use
them.
- All Children will be accepted for a “settling
in period” on one half term.
- It is recommended that two year olds attend a maximum of two
sessions per week during their settling in period. After this
time additional sessions may be requested from the Pre School
Manager, all sessions are subject to availability.
- A Child may attend a Friday Fun Club/Rising 5’s when they
become funded. This session is aimed at older children in their
year approaching starting school.
- If a Child has a pre-existing medical condition that will involve
staff administering medication, the Pre School Manager must
be made aware of this in the first instance when completing
our Registration Form.
To apply for a place at the Pre School, a parent must complete
the Registration Form, found within the Prospectus and return
it to the Pre School Manager, together with a registration fee
of £10.00. This fee is to cover administration costs and
is non-refundable.
If you no longer require a place at the Pre School one terms’
notice must be given in writing to the Pre School Manager.
